Our Humble Beginnings

Founded in 2018 by renowned Chef Alexander Laurent, The Opal Spoon began as a small bistro with just 10 tables. Chef Laurent's vision was simple yet profound: to create a dining experience that celebrates both innovation and tradition.

With a background in Michelin-starred kitchens across France and Italy, Chef Laurent brought a unique perspective to the local culinary scene. His philosophy of "respect for ingredients" quickly gained attention from food critics and enthusiasts alike.

Within two years, The Opal Spoon had expanded to its current location, featuring an open kitchen where guests can witness the culinary artistry firsthand.
